Agriculture ministry to collaborate with maize farmers to improve quality
The Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry will start going to the farmers' fields to inspect the quality of maize to rule out the presence of aflatoxins. This comes on the heels of complaints from South Sudan which recently blocked several trucks loaded with maize over concerns about the toxins.
