EASING LOCKDOWN: President to address nation on way forward
President Yoweri Museveni will address the nation at 8 pm on Friday on the status of the ongoing 42-day lockdown and measures to control the COVID-19 pandemic. He reinstated some of last year’s tough COVID-19 measures including a lockdown on June 18th which are expected to expire today. According to President Museveni, measures were needed to address the fast rate at which the disease was spreading.
