Emergency response training brings 36 African countries to Jinja
Uganda is hosting the 7th annual chemical emergency response training for East African Community partner states and beyond at the Uganda Rapid Deployment Capability Centre in Jinja. Organized by the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development, the training involves 35 countries and regional experts, with guidance from specialists from the Czech Republic. It focuses on equipping first responders with practical skills to handle chemical-related emergencies.
