Financial institutions urged to support women entrepreneurs
Financial institutions have been urged to remodel their services to cater to women running small business enterprises. A survey by the Women in Business Forum found that the majority of tier-one institutions, such as banks, have financial models that are not favorable to women in small-scale enterprises. On the other hand, USAID Mission Director Daniele Nyirandutiye promised to provide more funding to de-risk small-scale businesses.
