Fish farmers on Lake Victoria protest multiple licenses and unregulated taxes
A section of fish farmers on Lake Victoria have raised an alarm about the numerous licenses they are required to pay, as well as several unregulated taxes on their businesses. The farmers raised these and other concerns before the State Minister for Economic Monitoring, Beatrice Akello, who visited private fish farms to assess their impact on local communities and the government.
