Good Samaritans support missionaries for the poor
With the Christmas mood in full swing, the Rotaract Club of Nkumba in Wakiso District has supported the Missionaries of the Poor, a home that cares for disabled and abandoned children from the community, with goodies worth over 10 million shillings.
Angella Ssemukuutu, the club's vice president, says they found it prudent to share something with the disadvantaged and neglected children at this home. According to Brother Zoachim, a caretaker at the home, it houses over 100 people with different kinds of disabilities, operating at great cost despite limited resources.
