Gov’t agrees to back couples in early marriage
What is the biggest challenge for young couples? Well, according to the government, housing is among the top challenges they face. Given that Uganda has a housing deficit of over 2.4 million units, many young Ugandans are more likely to fail to get decent accommodation. However, Justice Minister Norbert Mao says the government can provide affordable houses to young couples as a way of encouraging stability and economic prosperity.
