Health workers concerned over many cancer cases in Ibanda District
Health workers at Ruhoko Health Center IV in Ibanda District are concerned about the increased cases of mothers with cervical cancer, calling upon everyone to embrace regular medical check-ups. Following the increased number of affected mothers, the facility is now organizing a one-day cervical cancer screening campaign that will be held on 15th February. The Rotary Club of Ibanda has joined hands in fighting against the disease and donated a colposcope machine that will ease the screening of mothers, and this has come at a time when USAID is threatening.
