High Court dismisses Eron Kiiza’s bid to overturn contempt conviction
The High Court has dismissed lawyer Eron Kiiza’s bid to overturn his contempt of court conviction by the General Court Martial. Justice Douglas Singiza ruled that the case was filed in the wrong court, despite a prior Supreme Court ruling nullifying military trials of civilians.
