ICC prosecutor says failure to arrest Kony is making work hard
The Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court says that it is unable to conduct the full trial of LRA rebel leader Joseph Kony if the elusive rebel leader is not arrested. Leonie Van Braun, the Senior Trial Lawyer in the Office of the Prosecutor says failing to arrest Kony means that the court cannot move to a full trial without him in the dock. She told NTV during an interview from Gulu City on Monday that the ICC has re-invigorated its efforts with its partners and member states to arrest Kony, although his elusive nature is hampering it.
