Manufacturers urge Gov’t to act on poor infrastructure
Investors from Buikwe and Busoga regions are appealing to the Central Government to address the challenges that area manufacturers face as a result of the crumbling infrastructure along the Jinja-Masese road, which is an industrial route connecting various factories. The revelation comes on the back of a report authored by the Uganda Manufacturers' Association, whose Vice President, Eddie Senkumba, says poor roads are affecting production in the area, hence calling for immediate action to fix the infrastructure.
