Minister Anywar lauds environmental move
Vice President Jessica Alupo has called for a strengthened partnership between the government and the private sector to conserve the country’s environment. The call was made while presiding over the Uganda Biodiversity Fund's seventh-anniversary celebrations held in Kampala, where she was represented by the state minister for water and environment Beatrice Anywar. The minister blamed the continued degradation of the environment on poor implementation of environmental laws.
