Parliament probes Zaake's alleged insults toward Rakai woman MP
The Parliamentary Committee on Rules, Privileges, and Discipline has initiated an inquiry into allegations that Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament, Francis Zaake, insulted Juliet Kinyamatama, the Rakai Woman MP. Kinyamatama informed Parliament last Thursday that Zaake had demeaned her during a rally in Rakai District. Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa referred the matter after women MPs protested Zaake's conduct. The hearing is being conducted in private. Jackson Onyango has the latest updates from Parliament.
