Parliament questions govt’s decision to host Afghan refugees
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has summoned Foreign Affairs Minister Gen Jeje Odong to explain Uganda’s intention to host 2000 refugees from Afghanistan. This followed concerns from several MPs over Uganda's preference for Afghan refugees rather than Ugandans trapped there.
