Sanitation crisis hits Nakawa market vendors
Vendors at Nakawa Market in Kampala are frustrated over what they describe as a sanitation crisis. This follows the closure of one toilet facility by the Kampala Capital City Authority, while another was condemned last month, leaving many with limited bathroom options. Even the few accessible toilets often lack running water. Some vendors say they have been forced to relieve themselves in bottles due to the dire conditions. They are now calling on KCCA to intervene urgently.
