Ugandan Health workers to receive advanced Esophageal Cancer training
A group of Ugandan health workers is set to benefit from a specialized training program on esophageal cancer management through a new partnership between the Uganda Cancer Institute and United States–based experts. Drawn from across the country, the selected health workers will be trained in the use of advanced, minimally invasive surgical equipment — a move aimed at improving cancer care and expanding access to life-saving procedures.
