Security operatives deployed at NUP offices
Security personnel from various military and police units were heavily deployed at the besieged Makerere-Kavule-based National Unity Platform headquarters. Drama ensued during the arrest of the Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zzaake who fought in vain to stop his car from being towed by the police. By the end, the car was towed with him in the driver's seat. Two NUP MPs, Bbaale County representative Charles Tebandeke and Hassan Kirumira of Katikamu South were also arrested.
