Uganda signs memorandum of understanding with Singapore
The government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chandler Institute of Governance of Singapore to benchmark how the Asian nation that was once a cradle of corruption defeated the vice to become one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.
The MOU will provide technical support to Uganda in areas of leadership training, and fighting corruption among others.
Dunstan Balaba, the Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Ethics and Integrity, Office of the President who signed on behalf of the government says it will further strengthen the public sector performance, accountability,and integrity through the integrity scorecard.
