Uganda, South Sudan sign pact to enhance border security
Uganda and South Sudan border security authorities have signed an agreement to end border insecurity and foster cooperation and unity between the two countries. The document reaffirms safety, peaceful coexistence, conflict prevention, and the promotion of economic development across Uganda's border districts, including Lamwo, Kitgum, Amuru, Kaabong, and Karenga. South Sudan's counterparts from Magwi, Budi, and Ikwoto Counties were also signatories to the agreement.
