Patriotic League Of Uganda claims take over of NRM leadership

Members of the Patriotic League of Uganda are celebrating what they call a significant victory, claiming their candidates secured over 70% of the NRM party primaries for parliamentary seats and 60% of the positions on the Central Executive Committee. They argue that these results signal a clearer direction for the country’s transitional leadership. The group also reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the NRM and pledged support for the party chairperson in the upcoming presidential elections.
