From rubbish turned into briquettes to tyres transformed into shoes, Ugandan women are rewriting the rules of business—while giving the environment a much-needed win.
Backed by funding from Germany, the European Union, and Norway, a new multi-million-dollar Green Transformation Project is training, certifying, and equipping women-led enterprises to turn local resources into products fit for global markets.
