During his campaign rally in Hoima and Kikuube, ANT presidential candidate Gen. Gregory Mugisha Muntu condemned rampant land grabbing in the Bunyoro sub-region, fueled by the discovery of oil and gas. Muntu warned that if these injustices are not addressed, the region’s oil resources could become a curse rather than a blessing. He also criticized the government over unpaid teachers’ salaries, drug shortages in health facilities, and widespread corruption in public service.
