Teachers’ strike enters day two as some defy in Entebbe

Meanwhile, in education, the strike by teachers under the Uganda National Teachers’ Union that began yesterday has now entered its second day. While some learners reported for the start of the third term, many found no teachers in class. However, in Entebbe, several teachers chose not to join the strike and went ahead with lessons.
