The intricate relationship among the environment, climate change, and migration is gaining traction in global discourse. Uganda grapples with extensive environmental degradation and heightened susceptibility to climate change impacts, leading to livelihood challenges and subsequent human migration. Despite increasing advocacy efforts to address these challenges, the understanding and documentation of the environment, climate change, and migration nexus remain limited. Meanwhile, UNMA provides regular updates on climate and weather patterns, with the February report warning of dry spells.
