Uganda-China Relations: More Investment Than Trade,
Chinese foreign direct investment to Uganda is estimated at just over 100 million dollars, which remains low compared to the trade between the two countries, in favour of China, recorded at slightly over a billion dollars, with a huge share of import values to Uganda. Government is now seeking to attract more Chinese investment, according to speakers at this year's Chinese Business Forum in Kampala today.
