European Investment Bank to inject €100M for Kampala train network expansion
The European Investment Bank will invest up to 100 million Euros (about Shs 396 billion), financing the extension of the passenger train network in the Kampala Metropolitan area. This announcement was made during a tour along the current line, which stretches between Kampala and Mukono, led by Jan Sadek, head of the European Union delegation in Uganda, and Edward Claessen, head of the European Investment Bank East Africa.
