Ugandans spend most on transport in tourism sector
New government research shows a significant increase in local visitors to some of Uganda's most alluring destinations, which is reflected in the transport expenditures. This surge, according to officials, is a driving force for prioritizing funding towards enhancing sector infrastructure, particularly the development of tourism roads, in the upcoming fiscal year as announced by the Ministry of Tourism.
