Anti EACOP protesters arrested marching to the EU head office in Kampala
Police in Kampala have arrested 11 environmental activists who were marching to the Offices of the European Union to protest the ongoing construction of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline.
Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the arrest and said the suspects will be charged with being a common nuisance. The activists, mainly students are from various universities.
