Elias Nalukoola wants UPDF banned from elections
In a lively session at Parliament this afternoon which was filled with amusement and laughter, the newly elected Kawempe North MP Elias Nalukoola Luyimbazi recounted the brutality of his election campaign.
This prompted him to advocate for an amendment to the Electoral Commission Act that would prohibit the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) from being deployed in elections.
