Express processing of national ID card to cost shs 300,000
Cabinet has resolved to raise the fees for change of particulars on a national identity card to 300,000 shillings. The current fee is 50,000 shillings. The application of the new fees will take effect when mass enrollment for new, and, or replacement of the old national IDs is completed in September.The Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi says there will be exceptions to the payment of the 300,000 shillings for change of particulars.
