Ham Kiggundu donates UGX 530m for COVID-19 fight
The chairperson of the National task force on COVID-19 Emmanuel Katongole has assured Ugandans that all the money received as donations from Ugandans in supporting the fight against the pandemic has been put to proper use. He explained that the money was used to buy double cabin vehicles to help transport Covid patients, across the country. The assurance came as Katongole witnessed fellow businessman Hamis Kiggundu donated 530 million shillings to the government to support the purchase of vaccines against the Covid-19 pandemic. Receiving the money, Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja welcomed more.
