Amudat district grapples with service delivery challenges
Amudat District is facing challenges in healthcare service provision, with residents traveling long distances to access the few available health facilities. The district has only eleven health centers, most of which are understaffed and lack essential medical supplies. With just one government-run Health Center IV, the staffing level is at 34 percent. Some sub-counties lack a basic health center. Leaders are calling for urgent government intervention.
