Anatoli Kirigwajjo celebrated as an innovative engineer
Anatoli Kirigwajjo, a Ugandan innovator has jointly won the Royal Academy of Engineering 2023 Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation. He jointly won the prize with a South African biomedical engineer. Kirigwajjo's innovation is YUNGA, a local digital security network that connects neighbors and police, through a physical device, a smartphone app, or SMS, to ensure security at a low cost.
