Bishop Tibaijuka urges clergy to shun divisive politics
As the country prepares for the 2026 general elections, the Bishop of Rwenzori West Diocese, Barnabas Tibaijuka, is calling on church leaders to avoid divisive politics. His call came as he met with clergy to assess the progress of the diocese in terms of development as it celebrates its two-year anniversary. Bundibugyo District, one of the areas under this diocese, has recently been hit by politically motivated violence in recent years.
