Changing perceptions in data sharing
The Central Bank-accredited GnuGrid Credit Reference Bureau is reporting a significant shift in the attitude of authorized Tier Four microfinance institutions regarding the sharing of financial data. David Opiyo, the Executive Director of the agency, has revealed that more than one hundred institutions are now formally registered and actively sharing credit data. This marks a notable change in the way these institutions approach data transparency and collaboration. He shared this development during an engagement session with representatives from Tier Four microfinance institutions.
