CRUDE OIL PIPELINE: Uganda,Tanzania sued over environmental changes
The governments of Uganda and Tanzania have been sued in the East African Court of Justice over the recent oil pipeline deal. The applicants are seeking to stop the construction of the oil pipeline until the concerns regarding the livelihoods of East Africans and environment are addressed. Hearing of the case started on Wednesday this week in Arusha Tanzania.
