Delayed payments: UBOS sets August deadline
The Uganda Bureau of Statistics has promised to pay all enumerators and service providers by August 2024. This comes after numerous enumerators raised complaints about delayed payments. The Bureau has attributed the delayed payments of census enumerators to several issues, including name mismatches, loss of census equipment, and delays in submitting names by local governments where the enumerators are employed.
