Environment police plan to evict illegal miners in Nyamitanga
The Commander of Environment Police is concerned about illegal mining activities in Nyamiyaga Cell in Butanda Sub-county, Kabale District. The Kabale District Natural Resources Officer is equally worried about the mining activities, which are destroying the environment. After touring the 10-kilometer stretch of mining land, authorities have decided that all mining activities must be halted, and the degraded area restored.
