Fuel truck fire death toll rises to 16
The death toll from Tuesday's fuel truck fire in Kigoogwa, Wakiso, has risen to 16 after one of the victims, who had been admitted to Kiruddu National Referral Hospital, passed away. Health workers at the hospital's burns and plastics unit are working tirelessly to save the lives of more victims from the tragic accident, which initially left 15 dead and over 20 seriously injured. Currently, eight people remain in the intensive care unit, receiving treatment for severe injuries.
