KCCA shifts garbage; Lukwago proposes Kiteezi decommissioning
Meanwhile, after Entebbe authorities blocked the disposal of garbage in Entebbe, the Kampala Capital City Authority has now turned to transferring garbage to a new site in Menvu, Busukuma, Wakiso District. In a stakeholders' meeting today at Kiteezi, Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago proposed that the decommissioning of the Kiteezi landfill begin so the area can be used for methane gas.
