KCCA to start dumping waste in Mukono district
The government has decided to temporarily dump garbage in Mukono District after Entebbe Municipality authorities barred KCCA from disposing of waste in Nkumba. Minsa Kabanda, the Minister for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs, announced that the government has also secured a piece of land in Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District, where a larger dumpsite will be developed. However, it remains unclear when the Wakiso site will be operational.
