Kyambogo University swears in 17 new council members
Kyambogo University has sworn in 17 members of its council today, in a move that renews the institution's governing body. High Court Judge Lawrence Tweyanze urged them to maintain the integrity entrusted to them. The president appointed the new members under Section 38(1) of the University and Tertiary Institutions Act, Cap 262, which established the university council in public universities.
