Minister Cheptoris backs NEMA actions in Lubigi wetland
The government has warned that it will not tolerate any impunity in the destruction of the environment and those found to be perpetrating this will be punished most severely. The call by the minister of Water and Environment Sam Cheptoris, came in a speech in which he also defended the ongoing operations against wetland encroachers by NEMA, challenging the body to equally go for the big fish. He was speaking during a formal send-off for the Executive Director of the National Forestry Authority Tom Okello in Bugolobi.
