NDA seeks to amend law to meet global standards
The National Drug Authority (NDA) is looking to amend the National Drug Policy and Authority Act of 1993 to align with World Health Organisation (WHO) requirements. This amendment will enable the National Drug Authority to attain Maturity Level 3 status, which would enable Uganda to be recognized in the African Regulatory Agency so locally manufactured vaccines and drugs can penetrate the global market.
