Northern Regional Cancer Institute to open in June, easing patient burden
The Uganda Cancer Institute says the Northern Regional Cancer Institute will start full operation in June this year. Construction of the thirty-billion-shilling facility, located in Gulu City, started in August 2021. Authorities say works now stand at ninety percent. The facility is hoped to relieve the Mulago Cancer Institute, which is currently overburdened by the number of patients.
