Poverty levels drop in Bunyoro and Tooro regions
Poverty levels in the Bunyoro and Tooro regions have reduced, according to the latest poverty status report presented by a Ministry of Finance official. The report, compiled between 2016 and 2019, indicates that poverty in Bunyoro has declined from 17.26% to 9.7%, while in Tooro, it has decreased from 12.8% to 11.1%. Silvia Mutamba shared these findings during the Bunyoro Regional budget conference in Hoima City.
