Problems caused enumeration to start late in some places
In several areas of Wakiso district, the enumeration exercise did not start at 8am as the tablets to be used could not connect to the online portal of the Uganda Bureau of Statistics. The technical glitch hindered enumerators from accessing the household questionnaire and the household-mapping Global Positioning System or GPS. Many enumerators received their tablets late, while some of them did not get reflector jackets and identity cards, for easy field identification as NOBERT ATUKUNDA reports.
