Refugees in Northern Uganda turn to self-sustainability amid funding crisis
Refugees in Uganda receive support in several forms, including access to basic services like water, sanitation, shelter, and health care, as well as assistance with livelihoods and education. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the UN refugee agency, and the government of Uganda provide this support. But the support given to refugees is at stake due to dwindling humanitarian funding. In the following report, Daniel Kibet explores how refugees in Northern Uganda are embracing self-sustainability amidst drastic funding shortfalls.
