Uganda begins emergency evacuation of Nationals from Iran
Uganda has begun emergency evacuation efforts for all nationals in Iran as the war between Iran and Israel enters day six. With Israeli airstrikes intensifying and panic spreading in Tehran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it is working to move Ugandan diplomats and students out of the country through Turkey. Roads leading out of Tehran have reportedly become overwhelmed, as thousands flee the worsening conflict. In an exclusive interview with NTV's Malcom Musiime, Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Vincent Bagiire confirmed that evacuation plans are now active.
