River Nyamwamba has flooded again and displaced locals
Reports coming through indicate that River Nyamwamba in Kasese district has burst its banks. According to the Uganda Red Cross Society, heavy rain in the Rwenzori region is causing the river to fill up and displace people living in the area. Flooding occurs every year and has caused untold damage to property and infrastructure.
